Ich sah Tara nach und seufzte leise. Ich wollte nicht, dass sie ging, aber was sollte ich sagen. 'Tara, warte, ich wollte dir David nicht weg nehmen '? Das würde es wohl nicht besser machen.

Ich konnte seinen Blick nicht erwidern, als er mir in die Augen sah, zu sehr plagte mich mein Gewissen. Es war meine Schuld, dass es Tara jetzt schlecht ging.

Ich nickte nur, geistig ziemlich abwesend. Jasper war schon vorhin gegangen, nachdem Man sich auf den Weg nach hause gemacht hatte. Also waren nur noch Zuko und ich hier. Ich stand auf und sah ihn an.
